About me and my work -

 

I studied Art at Winchester and Sheffield and finished just intime to greet the shut down of the steel works, coalmines and mass unemployment.

 

I've been torn between Abstraction and Realism throughout the years since then, and I suppose finding some ways of using them both in my work.

 

Each page relates to spheres of activity useing different media and two main aproaches - observational and abstract and sometimes both as in the photo collages.

 

After a period of relative inactivity in which I've been teaching, I've decided to spend more time making artwork rather than just thinking about it .
